So many students from around Morris County are honored for their musical prowess, most of which comes by way of instrumental skills.

Camille Bourland, an eleventh grader at Morristown High School, has been recognized in the month of April for her vocal talents as a member of the school’s choir.

Bourland was nominated by teacher Michael Nuzzo and is a third year choir student at Morristown High School. She’s also been a vocalist in many musical theatre productions as well as a soloist in several choral concerts.

On top of that, Bourland was recently accepted to both the North Jersey Region Choir and New Jersey All-State Choir.

Bourland was one of 12 students recognized at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown recently. The students were honored before a performance on stage with certificates recognizing their achievements.
