Morristown's Answer To Taylor Swift

Kaitlyn Gallagher's 'Heaven' a response to Taylor Swift's 'Ronan.'

Morristown resident Kaitlyn Gallagher, 12, has accomplished much in her short existence. The singer-songwriter performs regularly at open mic night at Anthony's Pizza & Pasta right off the green, has performed in Morristown's Got Talent and won a national song writing competition.

But perhaps one of her most interesting achievements is the creation of the song 'Heaven' which the songbird says is a direct response to the Taylor Swift hit 'Ronan.'

"I am a very big Taylor Swift fan," Gallagher said. "And she wrote a song called Ronan about a young boy who died from cancer. This song is a happier version. I wanted to write a happier song about it."

Gallagher said she is a huge Swift fan, and her song is meant to compliment the Swift hit.

"I think she is an amazing role model," Gallagher said. "She is someone who relates to a large number of people."
