'Two Kids' Car Show Motors Into Morris County to Benefit Ill Children

13th annual event will be held at Birchwood Manor in Whippany on Aug. 3.

One of Morris County's biggest and best car show events is ready to motor into the area, as the Two Kids Charity Car Show revs its engine on Aug. 4.

The 13th annual event will feature hundreds of classic, muscle, sports and TV specialty cars, along with family friendly fun activities, games, live music, a DJ, vendors and a food court.

Proceeds for the event benefit Two Kids Foundation, a non-profit that raises money to help children diagnosed with cancer and other serious diseases, according to Atlantic Health System. Goryeb Children’s Hospital will sponsor the car show.

“The support we receive throughout the year, especially at the car show, is a great source of relief to the many families we help,” said Glenn Wiederman, executive director of the Two Kids Foundation in a statement. “The turnout from car owners and spectators each year is both humbling and motivates us to serve these families in need.”

Cars, trucks, motorcycles and military vehicles are welcome. Dash plaques are handed out to the first 600 vehicles, and more than 150 sponsored trophies are given for entries 25 years or older.
