Happening Now: Morristown Mayoral Candidates Meet Up

All three candidates for mayor have gathered at the Alexander Hamilton School on in Morristown to participate in a candidate forum in advance of the Nov. 5 election.

The evening is sponsored by the The League of Women Voters of the Morristown Area.

Republican candidate Richard P. Babcock and independent Edward S. France are looking to unseat the incumbent, democrat Timothy P. Dougherty.

Each candidate will be given time for opening and closing statements, time is also allotted for candidate responses to audience's written questions.

The League of Women Voters of New Jersey, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
