7-Eleven Bringing Old Saint Nick for New Location

Grand opening of newest Morristown convenience store scheduled for Saturday.

Care for a little yuletide cheer with your coffee and taquitos?

, will be holding a Grand Opening event 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. In addition to various giveaways–including coffee, select-size sodas and Big Bite hot dogs–the international convenience store chain will also have Santa Claus on-hand for photo opps, and Mrs. Claus for face painting.

It had been announced earlier this year that the former 24-hour convenience store Another 24 Hours would be converting to the 7-Eleven model. Work began earlier this fall on the remodeling and has recently been completed.

7-Eleven–founded in 1927 in Dallas, Texas, and currently owned by Japanese company Seven & I Holdings–has nearly 40,000 locations throughout the world, including approximately 8,900 in the United States.
