Cupid's Chase to Benefit Those with Disabilities

Annual race kicks off outside of the Daily Plan It in Morristown Feb. 8.

It is what is referred to as a win/win.

Find love while helping out people with disabilities is the goal of the Community Options sixth annual Cupid's Chase 5k to be held in 24 locations around eight states on Feb. 8.

And our area's location for the landmark event is just outside the Daily Plan It on Speedwell Avenue in Morristown.

“We are in awe at how rapidly this event has grown nationwide.  I am
extremely proud to have this as our organization’s most important event,”
said Robert Stack, Founder, President and CEO of Community Options.  “This
event is even more special to us as we enter our 25th year of service.  We
hope that participants recognize the impact they are making in improving
the lives of people we support by simply registering for the event.”

The Cupid’s Chase 5K Run is the largest, national, simultaneous charity 5K
run in the country held by any nonprofit organization.  Participants will
receive an “Available” or “Unavailable” shirt to wear for the race in
hopes of sparking a love connection.

Cupid’s Chase 5K Run will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 10
a.m..  For more information or to register for the event and to
find the closest run near you, you can visit the website or join the Facebook page for the event.
