Iron Bar Liquor License Transfer Hearing Wednesday

James Cavanaugh seeks to open Mexican restaurant in space formerly occupied by Zebu Forno.

Town Council will put its Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission hat on once again on Wednesday, Oct. 24 when they hear the application for the expansion of the Iron Bar liquor license into the space formerly occupied by Zebu Forno.

The special meeting is required when letters of objection of are submitted to the town regarding a transfer.

James Cavanaugh, owner of the building where Iron Bar and the former Zebu Forno are located, . If the place-to-place liquor license transfer is approved, Cavanaugh said he expected to open Gran Cantina by spring.

The meeting is set to begin at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
