To Prideaux, who owns International Pottery with wife Janet Foley Prideaux, this store is much more than just a shop near the Green.

“I’ll miss the people the most, our customers. I’ve seen their children grow up into adults and some of them now come in and shop with their kids,” he said. “It’s been very rewarding for us.”

They’ve made strong friendships and given back to Morristown in several ways.

18 years ago, Janet Prideaux  co-founded the annual Halloween trick-or-treat that involves more than 100 businesses. The event has since been passed off to the Morristown Partnership, the event's current organizer.
