Morristown Coffee Shop Partners With County Tourism

"Destination Morris" aided by tourism display at Greenberry's.

recently began offering tourists information on tourism in Morris County through a tourism display set up at their Morristown location. The press release is below:

Visitors and residents now have a new location to learn more about all of the great locations and destinations available in Morris County thanks to a partnership between the Morris County Tourism Bureau (MCTB) and MCTB Member Greenberry’s of Morristown.

Since early June, Greenberry’s of Morristown has been working with the Morris County Tourism Bureau to complete the setup of the new tourism kiosk. The kiosk is conveniently located in the front of Greenberry’s, which is directly in the heart of Morristown, the Morristown Green. The new kiosk section features information on local destinations, events, history, and more with all of the information provided by the Morris County Tourism Bureau.

Greenberry’s of Morristown is no stranger to community involvement. Since its inception three years ago, Greenberry’s of Morristown has supported over 80 non-profits, ranging from the Seeing Eye, the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce’s Employment Outreach Program, and the Morris County Tourism Bureau’s Summer Walking Tours. It is no surprise that the concept for the kiosk started with Greenberry’s Owner Jason Czura.

“We had several individuals coming in each week asking for directions, places to see, and general tourism-type information. We decided to reach out to the Morris County Tourism Bureau and run our kiosk idea past them. The staff was extremely receptive and the idea just took off from there,” Czura stated.

The Morris County Tourism Bureau provides destination marketing aimed at driving Morris County’s economy by promoting the area’s exceptional historic, cultural, and recreational opportunities through services to residents, business travelers, and tourists. Greenberry’s will support their efforts by offering extended hours and more weekend availability at the store’s supplemental location, which was provided free of charge to MCTB. Future plans include the store management team's completion of a training program provided by MCTB to ensure the new location makes a meaningful impact in the community and economy.
