New Top Doc Named for Morristown Medical Center

Dr. Louis Brusco will oversee clinical initiatives at the hospital.

Morristown Medical Center announced this week the hiring of a new Chief Medical Officer who will oversee many critical clinical initiatives and play an important part in the senior leadership team.

Dr. Louis Brusco, Jr. will join the staff at Morristown on Aug. 1 in the CMO position. Brusco will work with Morristown Medical Center president Dr. David Shulkin to “create synergies between medical staff, create quality programs and achieve clinical program growth and development,” the hospital said.

Brusco currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. He’s a Columbia University graduate and board certified in internal medicine, anesthesiology, and has a certificate of special qualification in critical care medicine.
