Snowstorm That Wasn't Bumps Taste of Morristown to March 24

Annual event postponed due to snowstorm that never appeared.

The show must go on.

And it will, just a few weeks later than expected.

No thanks to the threat of more than a foot of snow expected to wallop the area on March 2 and 3, the 12th Annual Taste of Morristown, scheduled for that Monday night, was postponed.

The storm dubbed “Titan” by weather experts was anything but, completely missing Morris County except for a few flurries.

“As it turns out, the weather has missed us, but the logistics of an event such as ours required us to make a decision based on the best information available by 5 p.m. on Friday,” said P.J. Thurkauf of the Morristown Rotary Club.

All tickets for the original March 3 event will be honored on the new date of March 24. The event will still be held at the Hanover Marriott.
