Come one, come all, to Morristown Patch's "Week in Review," where we get you up to speed on some of our biggest headlines over the past seven days.

And, once again, it was a busy week here in our county seat. What? Busy in Morristown? Yeah, right. The next thing you're going to tell us is

On Monday, Liz Alterman gave us the story of at the . His story is pretty inspiring: The man, a NYC Firefighter, was sucked under a 20-ton bus, had to endure 40 surgeries and then, just when you the story couldn't get any worse ... he ran in the NYC marathon.

Also on Wednesday, we wrote about , which was well-received and well-attended. The $100 million budget goes up for a public vote on April 27.

On Thursday, Liz Alterman cut the ribbon on , which opened in late March on South Street. It's tale of trading Wall Street for South Street, business suits for bakery caps. OK, we'll stop trying to be witty–

Also on Thursday, we debuted our new regular Thursday "5 Things" sub-installment . There's a lot of interesting stuff out there, and some of it can be yours for the right price!

On Friday, Vincent Gragnani, one-half of the duo, . While known primarily as a popular spot for the after-hours crowd, Gragnani enjoyed several of their meal options, including sliders and other sandwiches.

Also on Friday was , which brought the planners for the nearly decade-old project back before the public to go over the latest incarnation. There were questions aplenty, from the audience and from council members, as well as a few heated exchanges.

Also on Friday (man, Friday was a busy day), we ran our first in a month-long series of video profiles on folks in Morristown who are not just talking "green," they're living it. . If we had a "Quote of the Week" category, it would be this: "I really don't know how much gas costs."

Finally, on Saturday, in the spirit of baseball season now in full swing (hehe. Full swing? See what we did there?), we had two baseball-themed (and, similarly titled) posts from "" author Dw. Dunphy and "" queen-bee Denise Addis. In Dw.'s post, he talked about the family-friendly (and, wallet-friendly) options for Minor League baseball throughout New Jersey. Over on "Around the Loop," in her usual affable manner, the longtime baseball fan recalled her son's days playing T-ball and her desire for him to actually play, instead of making sand-angels, and her eventual reconciliation.

Well, that does from here at Morristown Patch HQ. Be sure to check back every Sunday as we recall some of the stories you may have missed during the week. And, as always, be safe!
