Elements Therapeutic Massage Expands into Morris Plains, Debuts Highly Customized Massage Techniques

It’s a myth that all massages are created equal, and local entrepreneur, Nina Amidon, owner of the new Elements Therapeutic Massage in Morris Plains, is on a mission to help area consumers experience the healing benefits of massage therapy services tailored to meet their unique needs. The new massage studio, located at 1767 Route 10 East, opened on Saturday, July 13, 2013.

Unlike most area massage retailers, Elements has created a niche in an increasingly competitive industry by specializing solely in massage services and providing a highly customized experience to each client. According to a study from Trajectory Research of 800+ massage users, Elements’ clients reported more than 50 percent higher satisfaction levels than users of independent massage providers or other major franchise massage brands.

“We are focused on providing customized massages to each and every client – our therapists use the right technique and right pressure that you just don’t find at alternative massage retailers,” said Nina, owner of the Elements Therapeutic Massage studio in Morris Plains. “The Elements franchise was founded on the healing benefits of massage, and we’re looking forward to making a positive impact on our clients’ lives.”

Before opening up the Morris Plains studio, Nina had a long history in the business world having worked in many fields including time in internet advertising and as a school librarian. She was first introduced to massage when her husband hurt his back in a car accident and began experiencing the benefits and healing power of massage, both physically and mentally.

Once viewed as an indulgence, Elements is making therapeutic massages increasingly affordable and available to time-starved consumers who recognize the value of massages in maintaining their overall health and wellness. Those who receive regular massages benefit from lower levels of stress hormones, a heightened immune system, and increase in circulation.

Across the country, Elements has generated strong growth even in a down economy with average studio revenues growing 20 percent in 2011 compared to the prior year.*  In New Jersey alone, Elements opened seven studios in 2012 with an additional 23 studios under development. For potential franchisees, Elements boasts a lower investment and cost structure with a smaller footprint, less build-out and lower rent than competitors in the massage retail space; making the franchise more operationally efficient, and is the only massage franchise to share certain gross profit information in its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

The new Morris Plains studio is open 7 days a week, welcomes walk-ins and offers a membership program that allows clients to receive regular, discounted massage therapy services throughout each month. For more information, please call 973-993-0990 or visit elementsmassage.com/morrisplains.
