LEGACY OF MOUNTAIN LAKES LUXURY TOWNHOME COMMUNITY NOW OPEN IN SCENIC SUBURBAN MORRIS COUNTY

MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J. – Mayor Dan Happer and fellow officials from the Borough of Mountain Lakes joined developer HornRock Properties Wednesday, Feb. 26th, 2014, to celebrate the Grand Opening of Mountain Lakes’ newest luxury residential community: Legacy of Mountain Lakes.

The mayor cut the ribbon on the new property, officially opening it to home buyers and guests who wish to tour the community’s brand new furnished model home. The new furnished model provides an up close look at the spacious interior designs, luxurious features, quality finishes and unsurpassed lifestyle homeowners at Legacy of Mountain Lakes will enjoy.

“This property has had sort of a storied past which actually began before I was on the council, when I first moved in here about 16 years ago, so it is good to see you guys come in. I think the plans you have put forth are really great,” Mayor Happer said. “I agree with you that the design blends in with the community and I would say you made the right decision by coming to Mountain Lakes. You describe what I hear most people say when they move in to town, which is ‘I came here, I looked around, I saw it had a great school system and I experienced a true sense of community.’ So I think for all of the right reasons, you made a great choice to come here and we wish you the best of luck as you move forward.”

Although the ribbon cutting marked the official grand opening of the community, a number of the homes have already been sold at pre-construction prices. The opening of the model is expected to generate even more sales traffic, making Legacy of Mountain Lakes one of the hottest buying opportunities of the spring. The community of 39 three- and four-bedroom townhomes boasts ultra-luxurious finishes, spacious layouts and an ideal location in one of suburban Morris County’s most highly-desirable towns.

“The Morris County location is a big draw, with major employment centers in Morristown and Parsippany less than 10 miles away and easy access to New York City via Route 80 and the Mountain Lakes train station,” said David Hornblass, a principal of HornRock properties. “Residents can enjoy access to nearby shops, services, museums, restaurants and theatres, or just spend the day on the golf course or at a lake club. It’s a tremendous lifestyle and Legacy of Mountain Lakes residents will be able to enjoy all of it.”

The model unveiled on Wednesday showcases the Briarcliff floor plan, a 4,761 square-foot layout that exudes luxury, grace and charm, merchandised by prominent interior design firm Gacek Design. It boasts an expansive first floor great room with fireplace, formal dining room, designer kitchen with raised panel cabinetry and lustrous granite countertops and a lavish master bedroom suite with granite-clad master bath with Kohler™ fixtures.

The three-bedroom Briarcliff is just the first of two furnished model homes being unveiled at Legacy that showcase the two-story designs in the community’s “Signature Home Series.” A Fernwood model is expected to open to the public in April.

“Buyers have been clamoring for the opportunity to tour this model home since word of its debut began spreading earlier this year,” said Maurice Hornblass, another principal at HornRock Properties. “We fully expect a spirited response to the grand opening because buyers know that after the model opens, some of the most desirable home site locations in the community are going to move very fast.”

“The Briarcliff illustrates exactly how Legacy of Mountain Lakes is redefining sophisticated suburban living with sprawling townhome floor plans, high-end appointments and architecturally-distinct stone and stucco exteriors that blend perfectly into the heavily wooded surroundings.”

Priced from $799,900, homes in the “Signature Home Series” feature three-bathrooms, unfinished walk-out basements, two-car garages and up to 2,853 square-feet of luxury living space. Buyers who purchase optional upgrade packages can expand their living space to more than 4,700 square feet. Optional finished basements, elevators and loft spaces which can be used as an additional bedroom or flex space with full bath are available.

Legacy of Mountain Lakes also offers two additional designs in its “Carriage Home Series” collection. The “Carriage Home Series” features three-bedroom layouts with two full baths, two half baths and one- or two-car garages.  The three-story townhomes range from 2,162 to 2,236 finished square-feet and are priced from $599,900.

Situated at the intersection of Morris Avenue and Fanny Road, Legacy of Mountain Lakes offers a superb Morris County location characterized by winding country roads, bucolic lakes and heavily wooded terrain. With its consistently excellent schools and close proximity to convenient transportation, the community unquestionably offers a prestigious address. Routes 46, 287 and 80 are all nearby, putting residents just minutes from world class shopping, entertainment and major business centers. Mountain Lakes is home to countless parks and nine lakes, making it ideal for outdoor recreation, all right in the heart of one of northern New Jersey’s most picturesque settings.
