Hey guys!

We have been fostering this little guy from Eleventh Hour Rescue, a local shelter here in Rockaway NJ. E.T. was found tied to the porch of a foreclosed home in Mt. Olive couple months ago, whose previous owners left him to fend for himself with no food or any kind of protection. Due to the lack of care and proper nutrition, he had sadly developed a non-contagious skin disease called mange which resulted in hair loss and dry, itchy skin. But fortunately he was able to receive treatment from the nice people at EHR, and is currently recovering nicely at our home.

Here is a link to his page on the EHR website: http://www.ehrdogs.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=5986033
He is a young shepherd mix (less than 1 year old) with huuuge, out-of-proportion paws and silly ears. He gets alone really well with other dogs and does not seem to mind kids or other small animals (thankfully he leaves our terrified guinea pig alone). Smart, intelligent, and will do anything for a treat (the perfect combo - he learned how to come, sit, and lay down in less than 15 minutes).

If you or someone you know is interested in giving this sweetheart a second chance for a loving home, please contact us or apply directly on the Eleventh Hour Rescue website: http://www.ehrdogs.org/animals/browse?Species=Dog. Please share! And thanks for your help :)
