Artist Donates Work to Neighborhood House

"The Waiting Game," part of Ronald Ritzie's "Immigration Series," dedicated to organization's "Pathways to Work" program.

To bring together people in need of casual work regardless of race, national origin and gender as part of an organized and fair system of obtaining employment, formed the "Pathways to Work" program. We provide opportunities for education and training in various aspects of life such as job skills, language, safety, civics and worker rights and duties. We do this in an environment of respect, support, cooperation and harmony, thus making our community a better place to live for everyone.

Artist Ronald Ritzie, in honor of the program, bestowed his work, "The Waiting Game," to the Morristown Neighborhood House on Dec. 21. It is the first of his "Immigration Series."

PTW is a nonprofit coalition of community and faith-based groups who have come together to provide a pathway for linking day laborers with employers. To this end, we provide a workers’ center where workers and their employers can meet and connect.
