Morristown Man Crashes Car into Mercedes Dealership

There was minor injury to the driver

A car crashed into the Mercedes Benz of Morristown on Saturday morning. Morris Township Police responded around 8:04 a.m, said Capt. Richard Ferrone, Public Information Officer for Morris Twp. Police.

Zinovy Kozlov of Morristown was pulling his 2004 Mercedes Benz into the service area and lost control of the car as he was pulling into the queue line for servicing.

He tried to turn left into the line, but the went straight and through a glass support wall where the service advisor’s office is located, said Ferrone in a press release.

The support wall and plate glass shattered and caused property damage to the building. No one in the dealership was hurt and Kozlov had a small abrasion on his forehead.

Responding to the scene were Morris Twp. Police, Morris Twp. Fire Department and Morris Minute Men Rescue Squad. These emergency units addressed the minor injury and declared the building safe business to continue for the day.
