Elms Street Owner Seeks to Add Residential Unit

There is also a free rabies clinic this week

The Morristown Board of Adjustment will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at town hall. They'll continue discussions from the May 1 meeting, which includes N&B Associates—who own the lot at 98 Washington Street—requesting variances for "use, bulk, signage, and parking," according to the agenda. 

Also, 12 Elms Street LLC is looking to add a residential unit on the existing fourth floor. 

Also, the Morristown Parking Authority will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. and will go over the May 2013 Monthly Enforcement Report.

On Saturday, The Morristown Division of Health will host a Free Rabies Clinic from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at town hall. Rabies vaccination, Microchip Implant and Licensing will be available. Dogs and cats who, to your knowledge, have never been vaccinated will be given a one year vaccination. All others will receive a 3-year vaccination.

All animals must be vaccinated prior to licensing according to ordinance 5-2.1 & 20.1.

Dogs must be leashed, cats must be in carriers and accompanied by an adult, 18 years or over.Rabies vaccination must be effective through April 30, 2014, for licensing, otherwise a booster will be required. A free booster can also be obtained at this clinic, according to Darlene O’Connell, Health Officer. A micro-chipping clinic will also be available for a cost of $25 per animal

Licensing will be available for your convenience. Please bring exact cash or check for licensing. $15 for a spayed/neutered pet, $20 for a non spayed/neutered pet
