Escape to Somewhere Warm ... And Caffeinated

We didn't think we would have to promote a place that one could forget the cold again this season, but here it is.

It actually was a comment someone made on our Facebook page, a comment from someone out of town, that prompted us to think about what one might do when in need of a "Great Escape" from the cold.

To be honest, we did not think a Great Escape from the cold would even be necessary this close to April. But, as we all know by now, that thinking was premature.

The folks at Zizza's Deli, of Florham Park, must be thanked for the suggestion: Time for a hot coffee!

And, it's with those words we offer as our Great Escape this week. The idea is simple: Grab a hot coffee, self-served at the counter, and take a seat at one of Zebu's several very comfy, soft chairs. Listen to the tunes playing through their speakers, or pop on your headphones and listen to your own. Grab a pastry, if you're into that sort of thing. Lean your head back and take a moment ... relax. Breathe. Take a break, especially if it's before the noontime rush.

It's not that hard once you allow yourself the opportunity to do so.

It all started so simply–hot coffee. Add a nice environment, a comfy chair. What can be better on a dreary day?
