Fire Department Seeking Toys for Tots Donations

Department supporting program fourth consecutive year.

This holiday season, the Morristown Fire Department is for the fourth year in a row supporting the Toys for Tots program, and is currently soliciting donations.

is proud to support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program for its fourth consecutive year. New, unwrapped toys can be delivered to the Morristown Fire Station now through December. These toys will be distributed as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. A toy donation box will also be available at the during event hours.

Join members of the Morristown Fire Department the magical night of Santa's Arrival & the Lighting of the Morristown Green Friday, Nov. 25.  They will be hosting a plush toy display from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve; for one dollar ($1) you and your children can name a stuffed toy for a child in need.  Each toy, with hand written nametags around them, will be placed into a giant gift-wrapped box with a bow. These toys will be donated to the Toys for Tots Program and all proceeds raised going to the Marine Toys For Tots Foundation. “The is happy to support the efforts of the Morristown Fire Department and the Toys for Toys Program,” added Jennifer Wehring, director of marketing, Morristown Partnership. “They do so much for us; especially helping Santa down from Department Store the night of the Lighting of the Morristown Green!”
