Flood Watch, Hazardous Weather Outlook In Effect
National Weather Service has predicted rain through Thursday.
A flood watch remains in effect for all of Northern New Jersey, with rain predicted through Thursday. According to the National Weather Service, 1 to 3 inches of rain had fallen Monday and overnight, including nearly 3.5 inches at Lake Hopatcong.
"That was just a start," NWS said. "Another round of heavy to potentially excessive rains is on the way. This next batch now moving northeast from virginia is expected to develop into the watch area this afternoon."
From two to possibly four more inches are expected.
