Flooding in Morristown: We're Not the Only Ones

Archival photos from 1919 show a similar situation.

Do you think was bad? Yes, because it was.

However, that was not the only time certain sections of town went underwater. Remember Hurricane Floyd in 1999? Or, how about setting the clock back another 80 years.

Faith Teeple, Morristown resident and friend of Patch, found a couple shots in the Collection of flooding in several parts of town from July 1919, showing that severe weather has made things difficult here for a long, long time.
