Get on the Bus, Gus

The free Colonial Coach bus service begins at 9 a.m., which can get you to several events going on around town today.

With the holiday season in full-swing, there are a lot of events around town with a festive theme attached to them, including several "holiday shop" events. This week, the Morris Museum has been transformed into a winter wonderland, with free entrance all week.

And if holiday shopping is not what you think of as a good time, there's always the "Inside the Jets" radio broadcast every Monday night from Grasshopper off the Green. Just one of several events going on today you should keep in mind before you head out the door this morning.

1) The Morristown Colonial Coach bus service will start its weekly service again at 9 a.m. and run several routes throughout the day. The Colonial Coach currently runs bus service six-days-a-week and is available for free to all Morristown residents. Check out current bus routes here.

2) The Morris Museum's "Holiday Festival" and "Holiday Shoppes" will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. As a gift to all patrons, the Holiday Festival and entrance to the Morris Museum are free this week.

3) Seniors, know how to play Bridge? Want to learn how? Get lessons from John Roberts from 1 to 4 p.m. today at the Senior Center, on the third floor of Town Hall.

4) The Temple B'Nai Or adult choir meets Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Temple B'Nai Or sanctuary. Interested individuals need not know how to read sheet music to join.

5) The New York Jets are playing Monday Night Football against the New England Patriots tonight, so there won't be any Jets players in attendance, but the ESPN Radio program "Inside the Jets" will still air from the second floor of Grasshopper off the Green at 7 p.m. Come wearing green and stick around after the radio program to cheer the team on the television.

Bonus thing: If you're an early gym rat reading this before heading over to , you may want to give yourself a little extra time: due to a mechanical problem with a fire pump, building maintenance requested The Club not open for business today until 7 a.m.
