Live Chat: Readers, Patch Share Storm Info

Morris and Sussex Counties: Share what you're seeing and hearing about Irene, and keep track of the latest updated on the storm.

Morris and Sussex Counties began experiencing heavy rains and winds Saturday night as Hurricane Irene began creeping up the state. , and by Sunday morning many towns were hit hard with downed trees and drowning roads.

So we asked this weekend: What's it like by you? Is your power out? Winds causing a hazard? Do you see floods near your home? Have you been out of the house (and if so, why?)—and if so, how's it doing out there?

Your answers, and those of your neighbors, were captured all weekend in the live chat above. We closed it out after midnight Sunday, but you can still review the entire conversation here.
