Morristown PD Seeks Tips on Recent Stolen Car Tires

The tires were stolen last Friday and may be connected to similar incidence back in March and in nearby towns

Last Friday night, several car tires were stolen from parked vehicles in Morristown, said Morristown Police.

Around 11:30 p.m. police got reports of stolen tires off of a Honda parked on Hill Street and an Acura parked on Franklin Place. Both cars were put on cinder blocks and the wheels were removed.

Morristown Police Detectives are exploring links between similar thefts that happened on March 17 in the same area and the investigation is ongoing. They are working with other police departments that have seen similar incidents.

Police are asking residents to keep their eyes open report all suspicious activity.
