Oct. 19 is 'New Friends Day'

Luckily, we chose not to celebrate "No Beard Day," which is Oct. 18.

"Be Bald and Free Day" is a holiday we could get behind. Alas, we were away on Oct. 14.

Nope. For Oct. 19, we decided it was high time to celebrate "New Friends Day." And, what better place to celebrate this friendly holiday than here in Morristown. It's a lot better than "Evaluate Your Life Day," which also is today. Moving on.

4. You Need to Know About 9 P.M. Karaoke: Whether you have perfect pitch or a voice that can break beer-filled bar room glasses, you're bound to make a friend or two during weekly karaoke. Just remember: Friends don't let friends sing Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" for the 1,000,000th time.
