Why Go: To see a choral chamber ensemble comprised of 16 of The Masterwork Chorus’ finest singers.

Why Go: To see music icons The Monkees perform hits like “I’m a Believer,”“Daydream Believer” and “Last Train to Clarksville.”

When/Where: On Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset.
Why Go: Because it is the next evolution of anime convention. There will special guests, contests, music, fashion shows, and even a Cosplay human chess game. In the not so distant future anime fandom is everywhere and everyone is an Otaku.

GRAB & GO KIDS PLANNER

Where/When: At 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the  in Morris Township.
Why Go: The Bayers Children’s Theatre ends its 2010-11 series with this classic story of a bull who wouldn't fight. It's told by giant puppets in a narrated ballet with a larger-than-life bull, masked dancers and specialized mechanical figures.
Pricing: $8 to $10.

Where/When: At 1 p.m. on Sunday at  in Chatham.
Why Go: With the help of a naturalist, kids ages 7 through 10 will attempt to figure out what animals have been around, and what they’ve been doing.
Pricing: $3.

Where/When: At 10 a.m. on Saturday at  in Chatham.
Why Go: Kids ages 2 through 6 will enjoy an informative hike around  in Chatham.
Pricing: $2

Where/When: On Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 3 p.m., and Sunday at 3 and 7 p.m. at the .
Why Go: To take the family out and enjoy Lewis Carroll’s classic story, adapted by Madge Miller and directed by Kari A. Cooper.

Where/When: From 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at 214 West Mill Road in Long Valley.
Why Go To send your kids, grades 7 through 12, to have fun in a supervised atmosphere, where they can play sports, games, music and more. Fridays are for high school students, and Saturdays are for middle school students.
Pricing: Free.

Where/When: From 10 a.m. to noon on Friday at Mount Tabor Country Club.
Why Go: Moms and their kids who live in the neighborhoods districted to attend Mount Tabor, Intervale, East Lake, Lake Parsippany and Littleton Elementary schools can come by for a casual meet and greet including snacks and beverages for moms and kids, goody bags for moms and games and activities for the kids.
