Bike and Walk Morristown hosted 'Picnic. Music. Art' event in front of Vail Mansion Friday.

The sky cooperated, and the rain did not fall upon the many folks who laid out blankets, unfolded chairs, listened to music, played with hula hoops and munched on picnic dinners prepared by on the Vail Mansion lawn Friday evening.

The picnic, organized by Bike and Walk Morristown and co-sponsored by , The Artist Baker, Sustainable Morristown and , followed the monthly Community Bike Ride, which leaves the parking lot at 6:30 p.m. on the last Friday of every month for a leisurely trek around town.

Thank you! I love taking credit for things that turn out great like this, but the credit totally goes to Douglas Vorolieff, who was in charge of this event and also the Artist Baker for the idea and awesome food! I am looking forward to next year's picnic already!
