Superstorm Sandy Damaged 4 Morristown Homes

Four Morristown homes, two of them rental properties, suffered between under $8,000 and about $29,000 worth of damage caused by Superstorm Sandy last October.

Of the residences that suffered damage; the two rental properties each suffered damage totaling less than $8,000.

It was reported that  2,409 businesses suffered damage as well: 

High winds uprooted hundreds of trees, some of which fell on homes and vehicles.

The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs released the number of residences and businesses damaged by Sandy throughout the state last week.

Statewide, nearly 87,000 housing units were damaged. About 12,500 of those sustained major damage or were destroyed.

At least 1,000 residences were damaged in 24 municipalities in seven counties. Nearly 400,000 businesses were impacted, as well.
