That's the Spirit: Be Merry With MHS Alumni Throughout Town

See where the Morristown High School Alumni Night Out is headed, and join in on the fun.

Let's raise a glass to the weekend.

Gonbae (guess first what nationality that toast is from and win a Patch totebag)!

On Saturday, starting at 7 p.m., the Morristown High School Alumni Association will host its second-annual night out event at four locations (five if you separate The Famished Frog and The Side Bar). Alums and non-alums alike can pop in, pay a $10 donation fee and then have drink specials all throughout the evening. Score! Choose to "crawl" from location to location, or plop yourself down in one place for a fun evening.

So, in honor of the weekend event, let's take a look at the five places you're going to want to check out tomorrow.

  1. You Need to Know About : The popular Washington Street hangout is stop one in the line-up of bar/restaurants sponsoring the event. In addition to cheap drinks, may we recommend their nachos, which were mighty tasty after (and free when we wore our shirts!).
  2. You Need to Know About Technically, it's its own entity, and this extension to The Famished Frog can also be where folks want to go tomorrow night to get away from some of the crowds. Though, given the popularity of the event, that might not be possible! Check out a photo gallery from December of a benefit for Interfaith Council on Homeless Families, held here.
  3. You Need to Know About We've been to Sona many times for events, including . An addition this year to the MHS Alumni Night Out line-up, this popular South Street hangout bridges the gap (should anyone decide to do an impromptu "pub crawl") between the Frog, Side Bar and our next on the list ...
  4. You Need to Know About : A Pine Street landmark since the early 1970s, the Dublin Pub has a mix of Irish fare and more Americanized dishes to go with your discounted drinks. Check out Patch's regular weekly column, "" next week as we prepare for the St. Patrick's Day Parade with a little Irish fare of our own.
  5. You Need to Know About : And, last but not least on our list is the bar by the train station, which also serves Irish fare that our very own . Also, at 10 p.m. Saturday, Hennessey's hosts local band "Lunch Hour Six-Pack." So, why not stick around and enjoy some music while catching up with some old high school friends?
