Week in Review: Watch Out For Neon (Lime?) Green Papers on Windshields

Morristown Patch Editor John Dunphy presents "Week in Review" every Saturday.

This week, like most weeks here in Morristown, was packed with plenty. But, since these videos are only about three minutes, here are just a few things you might have missed.

There was a minor gas leak on Bank Street, which apparently occurred during some road construction, which had already closed off what also is known as Route 202.

Parking enforcement is about to ramped-up as the Morristown Parking Authority, previously just responsible for the central business district, spreads out to the neighborhoods. A neon-green (lime-green?) paper, letting people know of the increased enforcement, will be placed on cars in violation and serve as a warning. The actual regulations will begin on Nov. 1.

The town moved one step closer toward joining many other Morris County towns, which are now utilizing the much more modern county emergency dispatch system, located in Parsippany.

Vincent Gragnani reviewed Origin Thai 2, on South Street, which begins a full seven-day-a-week schedule on Oct. 18. He thought the food was excellent.

Finally, Liz Alterman interviewed alt. rock legends They Might Be Giants, who will be bringing their family show to The Community Theatre this weekend for two performances.
