Booker Buoys Morristown Democratic Ticket

Newark mayor stumps for Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty and the entire Democratic ticket.

Days after losing his father, current Newark Mayor and prospective senator Cory Booker was back on the campaign trail in Morristown where he stumped for Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty and his democratic running mates, according to a report by the Morristown Green.

Booker faces Republican Steve Lonegan in a special election on Wednesday to succeed the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg.

"Mayor Dougherty represents the people and that’s what I intend to do in Washington," Booker told the Morristown Green. "I want to be a voice for the people back here in New Jersey and make the changes needed in government, regardless of what it takes.”
