Get to Know Morristown Mayoral Candidates on Thursday

Hear from Richard P. Babcock, Edward S. France and Timothy P. Dougherty before the Nov. 5 election.

On Thursday night all three candidates for mayor will gather at the Alexander Hamilton School on Mills Street in Morristown to participate in a candidate forum.

The evening is sponsored by the The League of Women Voters of the Morristown Area and begins at 7:30 p.m.

Republican candidate Richard P. Babcock and independent Edward S. France are looking to unseat the incumbent, democrat Timothy P. Dougherty.

Each candidate will be given time for opening and closing statements, time is also allotted for candidate responses to audience's written questions.

The League of Women Voters of New Jersey, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
