Temple B'Nai Or and ARZA invite the public to a special presentation with Rabbi Miri Gold from Kibbutz Gezer, Israel on- "Religious Freedom in Israel: Making it a reality not just an ideal" with Rabbi Miri Gold . Israeli Reform Rabbi Miri Gold serves as Rabbi of Kehilat Birkat Shalom, a regional Reform synagogue based at Kibbutz Gezer. Rabbi Gold will be the first non-orthodox Rabbi to be paid by the State of Israel under a ruling by the Israeli Attorney General this past May. This success comes after a seven year fight by the Israeli Reform movement's Israel Religious Action Center in the Israeli Supreme Cout. Rabbi Gold's visit to the US is sponsored by ARZA: the Reform Israel Fund. ARZA is the Israel voice of the Reform Movement in the United State.
