NEW Shop Rite Supports Interfaith Food Pantry

On Saturday,
November 23rd,  customers at the Shop Rite of Greater Morristown will be given the chance to make the
holidays a little brighter for local families in need. Between noon and 4:00
pm, volunteers from the Interfaith Food Pantry will be at the entrance of the
store collecting turkeys from customers who wish to donate the free turkeys
they have earned while shopping, or those who simply want to purchase birds and
donate them to client families of the Interfaith Food Pantry.

Customers who spend $400 or more between October 20th and November 28th using their Price Plus® card are entitled to a free Turkey, Ham, Turkey Breast, Kosher Chicken, Lasagna or Tofurky. Once the required amount is reached, the cost of the turkey is automatically deducted at the register. Customers who achieved the required amount at the Morris Plains store may redeem at the new store at 178 Hanover Ave., Cedar Knolls, which opened earlier this month.

“We are very proud to support the Interfaith Food Pantry and are pleased to partner with them to help provide holiday meals to local families in need”, said Amanda Fischer, Director of Business Relations, Village Super Markets (which owns the store). “Helping families live better is our core mission at Village Super Market.”
