Dozens auditioned and 16 made the cut.

Snow-shortened auditions didn't stop the busy bees running Morristown's Got Talent, the annual fundraiser for the Morris Educational Foundation, from seeing prospective performers and winnowing down the scores who came into a list of 16 finalists moving on to the big show on Feb. 26 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center.

Four distinguished arts and entertainment professionals will judge the talent competition and there is a $1,000 cash prize for 1st place, $500.00 for second place and $250.00 for third place.

A press event for the 16 performers is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 4 at Morristown High School.
