Westminster Dog Show Best of Breed Hails from Morris Twp.

One of Morris Township’s four-legged residents was named best of breed this week at the annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Windy Hill Dance To The Music JH, a flat-coated retriever co-owned by Dr. Robert and Sonja Rickert of Morristown, won its category, according to dailyrecord.com.

This particular dog, named Macy by her family, comes from a line of champion dogs, the report said. Macy is one of a litter of a dozen and is now four years old.

The Morristown couple owns or co-owns some 10 dogs between Chicago, Seattle, Texas and New Jersey. This was the 138th annual event held in New York City.
