JOIN THE GIVING TUESDAY MOVEMENT WITH THE MORRISTOWN YMCA

This year, on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, the Greater Morristown YMCA is part of a call to action that will change the calendar and help make history. We are celebrating #GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to giving when charities, families, businesses and community centers unite to celebrate and encourage more, better and smarter giving during the holiday season.

When you visit the YMCA on #GivingTuesday you will have an opportunity to show your support for our mission – youth development, healthy living, social responsibility – with a financial donation. Check, cash or charge it’s easy to donate to the Y’s Annual Campaign and make a huge difference in the lives of your neighbors. Our #GivingTuesday table in the lobby will be the center of all the fun and generosity!

Membership dues at the Greater Morristown YMCA go directly toward the operation of Y facilities including exercise equipment, pool maintenance and staffing. The charitable side of the Y is funded solely by donations and grants! The great thing about donating to the YMCA Annual Campaign is that 100% of your dollars stay right here in our community. Donations opportunities such as: summer camp scholarships, day care financial aid for working families, free swimming lessons for underprivileged youth, membership assistance for senior citizens, handicapped individuals and families in need. Every single dollar helps strengthen our community.

We can’t wait to see you on #GivingTuesday – check out that hashtag all over social media and follow @GivingTues and our Y @GMYMCA on Twitter for lots of fun and informative updates.
