UPDATE: Kona wandered up to the Park Ranger's house around 4 am the following morning!
A very friendly blue-nose pit bull went missing in Jockey Hollow Park today, around 6:30 Friday evening. His name is Kona, and loves people and most likely ran up to someone to say hello and got disoriented. His coloring is blueish gray with a white chest and is wearing a collar with no dog tag. He loves riding in cars and will jump right into a car if you open the door. We have contacted the park rangers, the Morristown Police Station, and the Morristown Animal Shelter on Western Avenue.
Please, do not be frightened of Kona! He is extremely friendly and loves licking strangers.
