Halloween Costume Bike Ride Friday Celebrates Local Bike Shop Hero

The annual Morristown Halloween Bike Ride is Friday, October 25.  The ride takes off from Town Hall Parking Lot, 200 South Street at 6:30 pm.  Bring lights!

If you have ridden a bike lately, you know how important it is to have a great bike shop, and Support Your Local Bike Shop is something you totally get.

In Morristown, we are lucky enough to have New Jersey's best bike shop in Marty's Reliable Cycle, and Marty really seems to reverse that theme and goes all out to support Morristown: non-profits, people, bikers, walkers, kids, other businesses, good planning.

Anyhow, this Friday's ride is a costume ride, but also has a special costume category: Dress Like Marty.  With such a big personality, the costumes for this should be pretty epic.  If you need ideas, check out the collage and you can also get a Marty mask to print out here.  Other costumes welcome and encouraged!

After-ride met up at Iron Bar.

On Sunday, swing by Drip Coffee from 10am-11am and check out our Bike Walk Town Jerseys and see what size works for you before we get in our order in next week.

We also encourage everyone to walk or bike over to Morris Arts Pumpkin Illumination and check out our Bike Walk Town pumpkins.  We are pretty proud of them and already are planning our pumpkins for next year.
