Mayo Performing Arts Center celebrates its volunteers during National Volunteer Week, April 21-27.

The Mayo Performing Arts Center pays homage to our incredible volunteers in honor of Volunteer Week, April 21-27th.

You see them every time you come to a performance at MPAC. They are the people who take your tickets, serve you a beer, hand you a program book and lead you to your seats.

The Mayo Performing Arts Center has over 150 volunteers who are our community ambassadors. Our popular volunteer program supplements the MPAC professional staff on event nights as well as in the office. Over ten volunteers have worked at over 100 events during the season, and another 40 have worked over 50 events.

Not only do MPAC’s volunteers perform a vital service for the theatre, but they have become a family of people who are invested in the success of our organization.

“Our volunteers are dedicated, inspiring and fascinating people,” said Erin Pach, Senior House Manager and Volunteer Coordinator. “I love that every day I get to be a part of a community of people that care so much about one place and each other.

Whether you are attending an event this week or sometime in the future, please let our volunteers know that you appreciate all that they offer to the community.
