How is your New Year Resolution going?

 As many of you are well aware, a popular resolution during new year's is the improvement of health. Whether it be to quit smoking, begin exercising, decrease alcohol consumption (weekdays at least !) or change in diet, many of us have taken that crucial yet necessary first step towards improving your health. How is that coming along? Is there a plan you have made or are you just simply winging it? What is your strategy? Unfortunately, simply doing cardio isn't enough ( I am calling out all you cardio queens and kings out there!!)

Achieving that infamous "toned" look does not come from doing cardio alone. The name alone implies it's function. Cardio=Cardiovascular. Muscular conditioning alone is not the key either. It is through a combination of muscular conditioning, cardio and diet. Implementing these three facets of fitness will undoubtedly yield the most efficient results possible. Some of the world's top athletes have a program specifically catered to their goals. Imagine Michael Phelps without a trainer! A program is extremely important if you are looking to finally break through the fitness failures and achieve success!
