Northeastern Hardware Founder, Morristown Resident Dies at 93
Shirley Gordon co-founded Northeastern Hardware with her late husband.
Though she was born in Brooklyn, New York, Shirley Gordon called Morristown home for 65 years.
Gordon passed away on Friday, Feb. 13 at the age of 93. She and her husband, Charles, co-founded Northeastern Hardware in Morristown. Charles Gordon died in 1985, according to her obituary.
Gordon attended Hunter College in New York before working as a legal secretary, then became a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters and a son; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
