Mercy. So simple a word with such a complicated meaning with a complex inclusion in one’s vocabulary. However, one’s experience to include such a word in their vocabulary is something that the Soul needs to search. An experience of searching that is worthy of sharing.
Circumstances beyond my mortal power to control lead me to the true meaning of unconditional love, hope and faith if One truly believes that It exists. When one uses the term “Please Lord, I beg you for Mercy, show my how to stop the pain!” One must open their Soul to the most wonderful of lessons that there is such a thing as Perfect Love and Perfect Trust. Ask and you shall receive. The lesson is about understanding why you are in that pain in the first place. The second part of that lesson is learning about your own “demons” and facing them. The third, and I deem it as the most important part, is to trust the Divine without reservation and without FEAR. The fourth lesson is to connect the mind, body and Soul so that each become one and each can support the other. The fifth, to understand what “your” place is, and the final lesson (which I deemed for myself, the sweetest one) is that we are all the likeness of the Lord and Lady. Each one of us resembles them. Each one of us has a unique place on this planet and we need to understand it. With that understanding comes what one has been wishing for all along. But understanding also what the sacrifice is to get to that point.
Mercy is not just about physical pain it is also about releasing Spiritual Pain. We are all connected to a “cord” with the Universe however our minds get in our way a great deal of the time. Mercy is now. Mercy is offering you the chance of a clean slate. Start over and find out who you really are and what you are “made of”. Clear out the skeletons in the closet. Mercy should never just be in times of desperate need. Mercy should also be at times when just a kindness needs to be offered. Listen to the word in your inner mind. Listen to the word resonate throughout your body. Feel the word’s vibration to your Soul. Hear what it really means.
Understand that this isn’t a simple little lesson that you absorb now and tuck it away for a rainy day. No, Mercy needs to truly be understood in the entirety. Mercy is about how we are treating ourselves. How we treat the people around us. Our loved ones and not so loved ones. Strangers. Acquaintances. The homeless on the street. The angry man or woman who just doesn’t understand why bad things keep happening to them. The child that acts out because they are not getting the attention they need. The list could go on infinitely.
This world right now is in a very sorry, desperate state of being because one feels that they are more powerful over another. If one truly believes that there is a God/Goddess, then one needs to act in accord. This is where Mercy needs to be heard and understood. Our Minds and Souls are struggling right now and seems that the time is now to understand Mercy and what the ramifications are and can be if we all give it a shot to understand.
Mind over matter. It takes the Soul of an individual to understand that statement. Mercy shows that lesson. Mercy has boundaries, however very flexible with those lines. Gratitude must be returned in kind or you will not be afforded that opportunity again.
Mercy. A chance to change wrongs to rights. Ends starvation of self and go forth to the bounty one deserves. Helps heal old wounds and restores the Soul to a place of Peace and Love. Mercy. I thank you for your valuable and timely lesson.
