Spring Street is something of an unusual space, especially at night.
On one side, the rear of Headquarters Plaza looms large. On the other, a few businesses are operated, though most are closed by later hours. Most people move through this part of town by car, driving either up or down its steep slopes.
Though there was once a business, a rather large one, that provided a little "electricity" to this somewhat gloomy road. Forgive the pun.
Morristown Electrical Supply, at 23 Spring St., is empty. In its place is large, old building, several signs informing potential renter of its availability, and a question: What should "Occupy This Space?" Given its proximity to Morris Street and that road's restaurants, would another restaurant be a good fit? Or, could this location see the return of more industry to a once industry-heavy town? Chime in below.
