Cops Asking For Public's Help in Finding Morristown Medical Center Armed Robber

Parking garage was robbed on morning of May 18, authorities release surveillance photos of suspect.

Morristown Police and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office are seeking help from the public in an investigation stemming from an armed robbery at a Morristown Medical Center parking garage in May.

Morristown Police responded to the parking garage just before 11 a.m. on May 18 and were told a “dark skinned male who was armed with a handgun entered a parking lot complex office and demanded money from an employee,” Acting Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp said.

The suspect fled the location on foot, Knapp said.

Surveillance cameras have captured multiple images of the suspect and are now being released to the public. The suspect is between 5’10 and 6’1, was wearing a white Panama Jack style hat, sunglasses, gray long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and black shoes, Knapp said.
