Not So Cool Ranch: Robber Beats Victim, Steals Doritos, Cops Say

A 49-year-old Morristown man was jailed after being charged with robbery and aggravated assault according to a report by the Morristown Police.

According to the report by Officer James Green, Kevin Cromwell was arrested on a complaint warrant for causing serious bodily harm to a victim during the course of a robbery.

The robbery and assault took place on Sept. 1 and Cromwell demanded $40 from the victim and took a bag of Doritos during the robbery, the report said.

Cromwell was charged with robbery in the first degree and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury in the second degree, the report said. In addition, Cromwell was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance during his Sept. 2 arrest, the report said.

According to the report, Judge Michael Noonan set bail at $100,000 and Cromwell was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
