Drunken Driver Plows Into Parked Car, Cops Say

Morristown resident's blood-alcohol level was .18 percent, according to report.

A 31-year-old Morristown man was charged with driving under the influence after crashing his car on Dec. 11, Morristown Police said.

According to his report, Officer Joseph Heuneman responded to an accident scene where Jason Marlowe had driven his Subaru into a parked car.

While speaking with Marlowe, Heuneman noted his eyes were bloodshot and watery and his face was flushed, the report said. After failing a series of field sobriety tests, Marlowe was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, the report said.

According to Heuneman’s report, a Breathalyzer test showed a blood-alcohol content of .18 percent and he was released to a sober family member with a court date in Morristown Municipal Court.
