EMS: Woman Stable After Crashing Into Stone Wall

A female drove her car into the wall outside Morris County Courthouse on Tuesday.

An automobile accident in front of the shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning stemmed from a prior medical issue, according to a Morristown EMS official.

Dominick Sandelli, captain with the Morristown EMS said a woman crashed into the stone wall outside of the courthouse at 11:20 a.m. on May 3. "It appears the woman had a medical issue before she crashed and that's what caused the crash," he said.

Paramedics from , and the Morristown EMS, responded to the scene and treated the female driver, Sandelli said. She was reported stable at the time but was still sent to Morristown Memorial Hospital for further evaluation. Sandelli could not confirm he she had yet been released from the hospital.
