Homeless Man Sexually Assaults Minor, Police Say

A 24-year-old undocumented man from Honduras was arrested just after midnight Saturday and charged with having sex with an under-aged girl, according to a report by the Morristown Police.

The report filed by Officer Yeison De Los Santos said Marlon Sanchez Dominguez-Hernandez was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and hindering apprehension and Municipal Judge Gary Troxell set bail at $5,000 for those charges.

After further investigation, Detective Brendan Briscoe signed complaints against Dominguez-Hernandez for sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, the report said. 

According to the report, Dominguez-Hernandez was remanded to the Morris County Jail in default of the $200,000 bail set by Superior Court Judge Mary Whipple.
